Be aware, people. The last two years people were ripped off by the organizers because there was some nasty scheme going on! Went there for three consecutive years and I honestly don't recommend this festival anymore.

A few days ago I had a look at your website stating that you would be respecting the everyday comfort of the local residents... Well, for me as local resident, respecting our comfort doesn't equal with your Samsarians covering our cars in dust and damaging them with gravel by speeding on the roads of our village and the 80 dB music doesn't help us to relax either... Please do something as soon as possible and respect our lives FOR REAL because this whole thing is getting scary and disturbing...

Badly organised and badly prepared. Missing shuttle busses, had to do a combination of taxi and walking. The festival looked like they just started preparing when we arrived. Extra charges for a garbage bag that you should have gotten back but didn't. Met a lot of usually peaceful people wanting to take a dump onto the organizers table

Pros: - artists (many unknown, but I was positively surprised. It didn't matter where you went, the music style was always great) - sound (at least at Main Stage and Alter Stage Funktion One, Tilos Forest was a bit weak, but okay) - visuals on main stage - nature around - peaceful and friendly visitors from all around the world, many dogs and children - water supply worked 24/7 - comfy hammocks in Tilos forest (many of them or even all of them belonged to visitors who brought them themselves) Cons: - very dark at night, no ambience lighting but after the first night you get used to it. The trees around would have looked so good in the right light. - ticket price way too high (around 140€) + extra fee for cars - "no waste policy" + trash bags: absolute effrontery! rip off, first impression at their festival gate: full trash bags and empty alu cans everywhere in their hut bought a Monster Energydrink inside and it was filled from the can into a plastic cup charging an extra fee. very much "no waste" - hypocrits! when we left on Sunday morning their office was closed and we only found a message which said we should register and send an e-mail with a foto to get the 10€ refund for our bags. the mailbox is full and it is impossible to send them our fotos. RIP OFF If you come without a car it will be impossible to take those bags back home. "no waste policy" was a selfish radical experiment by the organization to pay less for their own waste disposal. Why don't you guys think just a little tiny bit about the consequences of your rules? As you can think and also see on Facebook, after the festival, the bags were all over Siofok and the area around. This was clearly the fault of the organizers. Anyways, they now have enough money to clean Siofok up. When we drove in, we weren't checked for plastic wrappings as said on their website. - only 2 food stands and food ridiculously overprized food stands weren't even open all the time long waiting time in the hot sun 8€ for a medium sized pizza 9€ for a medium sized burger (someone peeled off the price label and the original price was around 5€) 4€ for 4(!) soy nuggets the menza was really not good, I'm sorry. 3-4€ for a small portion - not enough for one person. - no grocery store / supermarket, just some stuff from a fridge. Not really trustable. - "toilet heaven" was not a container but a wooden construction and you were sitting back to back to someone else only separated by fabric. most of the time no toilet paper. it was anything but heavenly. because of the toilet situation, on the weekend the whole festival area smelled like a toilet, because people were just going in the woods. It was disgusting. - very narrow roads (driving backwards when two cars meet each other) we had to drive half the way backwards through a narrow forest road with our bus when departing on Sunday, because a staff member drove into the venue. why don't you guys just position staff members at the ends of the road communicating with a walkie talkie? especially on arrival/departure days? You promised to make arrivals and departures smooth this year, but once more you failed with this one. - shower open only from 07:00 - 21:00, I didn't see the reason why. - staff could not help / answer questions, talking English was too much for most of them unfortunately. The staff on the area did not know where we had to bring our waste bags to get the 10€ refund each. As you read before, it didn't even matter, because there was no refund. - Medical support There was only one medic on the area when we needed one. And we had to wait, because she was just not there at the moment. Others were waiting too. - loud generators in the middle of the area, blowing their gas into the audience you could hear the diesel-generators even when you were on the floor (Alter stage). Why don't you guys just use modern generators instead of those old loud stinky monsters? Unfortunately I do not recommend going to Samsara at all. We had a good time there but we will not come again.
