Very beautiful church with medieval frescoes, a renaissance tabernacle and baroque sculptures, also a lower church with a tunnel and ruins of a Benedictine monastery.

Let's not forget that the wonderful church, the excavation of the frescoes, the restoration and the care of the monuments were started by the provost Frones Pálos, canon, art historian, Honorary Citizen of Tereske and considered it a matter of his heart for the rest of his life!

Amazing! On August 20, just by the end of Mass, it was magical to enter the sounds of the Anthem. A truly magnificent church-monastery, with the fresco, sanctuary, sub-church and tunnel of St. Ladislaus, is a real example of how many miracles there are in Hungary. My heartfelt congratulations also to the enthusiastic local church servant, who was a great host and exhibition guide.

It was built between the 13th century Benedictine abbey building by István Bajoni of the Vác canons between 1482-84 in Gothic style. It was rebuilt in the 1700s. Its tower was built in the late 19th century in the classicist style. Its landmark is the fresco remains unearthed on the north wall of the nave, depicting St. Ladislaus.
