The church was consecrated on June 7, 1903, in honor of St. Anna. II. The church suffered a lot during World War II and the tower was hit. The damage of the war was restored by the care of János Haller, parish priest. The church has been renewed from the inside and outside. The interior of the church is decorated with 5 frescoes by the painter József Samodai. The interior renovation of the church was completed in 2002. For the jubilee of the church, in June 2003, the sanctuary of the church was also renewed: a new altar was created in the new liturgical space, the lighting of the church was modernized, and the colorful glass windows of the church were completed.
