Saint Matthew's Church

Nicely tidy church, unfortunately I couldn't enter.

Built in 1769 on the site of the ancient ruins, it was acquired in its present form in 1843. On 23 August 1876 he was burned. His altarpiece was painted by Charles Jakobey. It has two bells, the larger ones were cast in 1648 and the smaller ones in 1870.

A simple, mostly unadorned (unpainted) small baroque monumental church inside. At present it is a Sunday Mass at half past nine o'clock, but it is usually opened at eight o'clock for anyone who wants to see it from the inside. With the spherical panoramic virtual tour, you can even see it from elsewhere.

Dear, simple church. It was a pity that we could only look in, but it was not open when we went there.

It's beautiful in its simplicity.
