The church was built in the second half of the 13th century, it was enlarged at the end of this century, a tower was built, with the porch's porch behind it. It became the property of the Protestants in the 1500s, and was reclaimed by the Catholics in 1737. It was destroyed in Turkish times, and reconstruction began in 1746. Its special feature is the dragon-animal figure semicircular tympanum, which may once have decorated the south gate.

The 12th century stones of the temple are still preserved in the sanctuary and the northern wall, but the proportions of the building were greatly redrawn by later construction. On the south wall, paintings show preserved memories and a few wall openings. The interior has been completely rebuilt, but proudly preserves the lunette, which is embedded elsewhere in the northern wall, adorning the gate. The theme is typical Agnus Dei, but from the early master's hand, despite the cross, a more oriental (Persian or Caucasian) dragon figure (hardly called a lamb) emerged. This is the turn of the century in action. (I don't know why my photo of the sculpture disappeared from here.) From there, the caretaker lives in three houses (Petőfi u. 14), and very willingly shows anyone inside the building.
