Szent György-hegy

Great place for a hike, with a very nice view, this is the hill where you can get the closest to the volcanic stones. It is not a difficult hike, should be right for almost anyone, but there are more demanding parts as well, it is a healthy blend. It can get really crowded they say, but we manged to visit at Christmas so it was pretty empty, I can recommend visiting this place, enjoy!

There's a nice round trip to see all the highlights of this mountain. We parked our car and followed the red T-sign, it goes round the mountain. You're climbing and ascending a lot during the walk, but this red T-route took us less than 2 hours (with kids). The scenery is great and the organ pipes are amazing. The dragon cave isn't really a cave but it's really bizar to feel the coldness around that place. It was 28 degrees Celsius when we visited and we still got goosebumps.

Breathtaking view on the top, which can be reached by a lightsome walk. Takes about 2-2.5 hours to get around from the parking.

One of the best views from the Northern side hills of lake Balaton.
