I don’t know if it’s a spectacular but not too deep pit of square stone blocks, or is there really a ready-made cave somewhere else? I didn’t climb down the pit to see if it would get colder and if there might be something cave-like there because I was there in the winter, five degrees. : D

Don't look for a cave! The collapsed basalt sea is in place .. monumental

Very interesting. Ice-cold air flows from the stones blocking the entrance to the cave. Only the entrance is visible. It is very close to the Tourist House, but no sign indicates which way to get there. I'm glad I had a downloaded tourist map. I would have been sorry if we couldn't find it. It cools down a bit in the heat before you climb up to the basalt organs.

Although not a cave, but only a small cavity, or rather a pit, but it does not detract from its "merits", it is a very interesting formation, worth a visit. Really approx. It will be 10 degrees colder as you enter, interesting! It’s about a minute from the lodge, but I don’t remember normal signage, so it’s good to have a map with a person or a tour GPS.

Legend has it that the cavity was once inhabited by a dragon, which kept the locals in awe. However, the dragon once became ill and was cared for by the people. Therefore, in return, he did not hurt the people until the death of the dragon. Then the dragon's last breath made the air of the ice cave frosty forever.
