I have counted 444 steps but some sources mention 464. You should go and count it for yourself as well! ;-)
Takes around 1-2 hours and there are rest stops. Definitely a challenge for city people but totally worth it.

Best idea for have a walk on that small hill. Its bit hard to walk after 1l of wine, and there are no good signs for English peoples, but Google translate can do it well ;) for sure you need to go there and see this!
A bit challenging to get to the top because the steps are steep but the sight at the pinncacle is worth the effort.
