Avasi church Ruins

Back in time... Historically place in the lovely Szigliget.

The ruins of a church (the tower is still standing) from the beginning of the 13th century. If it is on your way, it is worth to stop and look.

This was cool in a "you should see this" sort of way. It's off the beaten path, so you'll have it to yourself, and there is a nice marker with the history. Nice view of the Badacsony hills around the corner, too.

Beautiful little really old church

One can imagine what it might have been like to be here, hundreds of years ago, between the dark and closed "walls" of the old church.
