Hegyes Torony

One of the towers of the Vác city wall, which should be installed as one of the stations of the sightseeing program.

The Pointed Tower is the northernmost corner tower of the medieval city wall. The only surviving monument of the medieval town rebuilt after the Mongol invasion is the restored tower and city wall on the Danube. Originally crowned with a party line, the tower was later renamed "Hegyes" by the vernacular because of its later conical roof.

Even a well thought-out homeowner could believe it if it weren't reminiscent of a signboard to the contrary. The Danube River Walk (in both senses) is a must-see. Next to it is the Váci Canoeing and Sports Department.
