Akasztói Kisboldogasszony templom

It was built in 1744 using a medieval church. Its tower was rebuilt in 1829, and in 1897 it was expanded with two side ships. In 1938-39, a new ship and shrine were built according to the plans of Károly Möller. Its lobby was built in 1959. His main altarpiece is by Joseph Kessler from 1873. Angster received his organ in 1883.

It may have medieval elements (tower windows?) But it is very much obscured by later remodeling. Perhaps the asymmetrical placement of the tower, and the open foyer is the thought-provoking solution in it. Here I did not understand, only seeing the church in Algyő, how this solution could have developed.
