It is in a very nice place, but the road there is neglected. An asphalt road full of potholes for a while, a dirt road for the last 1 kilometer. It is impossible to approach it normally on foot in rainy weather. The place isn't really managed either. If someone doesn’t go purposefully, they can’t really know that this is a real rarity place ...

"Before the flood regulations, the whimsical Zádor River supplied water to the marshes of the area. The provision of transport in the area was a constant difficulty, therefore In 1804, Karcag's foremen saw the need to erect a permanent stone bridge over the watercourse instead of the old embankment, allowing passage at all times of the year. The the cornerstone of the so-called Zádor Bridge It was laid down on November 27, 1806, and by 1809 had already been handed over to traffic. The originally nine-hole bridge also served as a model for the Hortobágy stone bridge, completed in 1833. The completed Zádor Bridge withstood the siege of the waters for twenty years, but could not withstand the flood of 1830, swept away its two extreme pillars. The bridge was later rebuilt, gaining its five-hole shape today after the rebuild. The permanent waters have since disappeared, leaving the bridge without water. The area under nature protection is divided in two by a few hundred meters into the Karcagi-I inland water canal, which runs parallel to the monumental bridge.

This will not be a tourist attraction either. And it's worth walking away so far. On foot! Because it can only be reached by car in summer, in dry weather. It was a little muddy - so in October - but it was worth it because of the air.

The quality of the road leading there is very poor ...
László Gubicza (08/16/2020)
In addition to the fact that there has been no water under the bridge for 150 years, there is also a road leading to it that ruined our car. It wasn't worth going out there. Only for off-roaders!
