According to the chronicles, the Zsitva confectionery is the oldest confectionery in Szekszárd, so I could not miss a visit to the city. From the outside you can say average house, not so much grab a person, inside with antique-looking furniture. The selection is not very wide and brings the obligatory Hungarian. No foreign virtus please nicely, I have enough home too. The service is nice, albeit a bit hectic. I note that the maid behind the counter was very kind and helpful, but sometimes she disappeared behind (I think it helps there as well). Sacher cake and Tour cube took place. It’s finally a place where confectionery doesn’t consist of stuffing everything with sugar. That’s a big positive, but that’s all I can say. I mean, it's not a confectionery in downtown Budapest, but if I already served the slice of cake, would the wax paper be so hard to take off? The dough of the cake was crumbly and very dry. Peach jam can only be discovered in traces, sometimes I thought it might not even have been in it. The appearance of the slice is the 6th day of studying industrial confectionery. There is no decoration, the top layer of chocolate has an absolute artificial effect. As for the dinghy cube, if I don’t know and see what it is, I won’t come to it based on its taste. The cottage cheese layer itself is gum-dry, but at least packed with industrial-grade raisins. The espresso coffee had a slightly watery effect, saving the coffee itself on one of the cups of homemade whipped cream requested. Overall, it wasn’t bad in terms of either taste or appearance. You can't make a living from the past, so I support Zsitvai.
