Reformed Church

The church was designed by architect Bálint Szeghalmy in 1939 and the construction began in that year under the direction of Jenő Vogronics, a certified architect. The church and the parish, which is an integral part of it, were completed in September 1940. The solemn consecration of the church took place on September 22nd. On Good Friday, March 30, 1945, retreating German troops blew up the church tower, causing severe damage to the entire building. On November 10, 1946, the church could be consecrated for the second time.
