One of the most beautiful decorations of Cegled town is the Lutheran Church built on Liberty Square. The neo-gothic building, reminiscent of Otto Sztehló's design, was consecrated in 1896. The Bach Baroque organ on the gallery is the work of Attila Faragó, a local organ maker.

It was built between 1895-96 according to the plans of Otto Sztehlo in Gothic style. Consecrated by Bishop Samuel on November 31, 1896. His altarpiece, depicting Jesus in the Gethsemane Garden, was painted by Charles Jakobey, a Budapest artist. On May 25, 2015 he received a new organ.

Untouchable, they couldn't give the key to see at the Turinform office. The parish was not indicated in the opening hours open.
