I have lived here for over 30 years, but so far I have never been mistaken. However, due to a confirmation, I was invited and went for it. It was a very nice church, it was a pleasant experience.

The Rákospalota-Óváros Reformed Parish is one of the medium-sized congregations of the Hungarian Reformed Church. The history of the Church dates back to the early 1600s, with the first written records dating from 1604. For more than 400 years, in the age of the Counter-Reformation, the parish continued to function and spiritual work continued. Throughout the history of our parish, it has been the "mother" of the congregations of Újpest and Rákospalota-Újváros. Once upon a time, Rákospalota was a color-Protestant settlement with an overwhelming Reformed majority. Not so long ago, even the people who lived here were mostly engaged in farming and animal husbandry. Today, this picture has also changed in terms of denominational composition and employment. The church's characteristic "needle-towered" church was built between 1939-1941 and was consecrated on Pentecost 1942.
