Óbuda (Old Buda) is full with ancient Roman monuments, baths, amfitheaters etc.
The meeting of the 20th century and the Roman age. Interesting place, worth a visit. The part in the subway is catastrophic, making pigeon dirt, homeless and other filth unenjoyable. It deserves more care and supervision!
The place has an interesting atmosphere as Roman ruins meet today. It’s a shame that people don’t appreciate it enough and most of them don’t even care about the place, someone imagines it as a landfill, and so on. Yet it is a special, valuable place.
It is very exciting to see what was here long ago, it is unbelievable what the Romans were able to create as far back as 2000 years ago.
It is a miracle that we can still see its remains.
Admission is free, I recommend it to everyone !!!
A secret place in Budapest. Is it really a ruin from Roman times? ? ? But the contrast with the elevated is the best!
