Were rejected at the Serbian border, as my travel companion had an expired passport. So we had to apply for an emergency pass at about 7 o'clock in the morning, which was no problem at all from the ambassador and her staff! We were treated very friendly, although we called early in the morning. The issue of the pass was pretty quick.

Without her help, I would not have received a report from the Hungarian police in Sopron for my stolen documents and wallet. Waiting more than 6 hours with the uninterested police was quite uncomfortable and unworthy. I thank all Consulate employees who have been very friendly and caring in this situation. Austrian Consulate in Budapest and honorary consul Ivan György in Raab / Györ do not let down people in need! Thank you!!!
