Duna Wellness Hotel

Place is great the stuff is helpful. The room is medium in size but beautifully decorated. There are 3 pools in the hotel we already used two. Everything was perfect for us except for the wifi. The range is terrible but I know that we are in the corner of the building. This was my only reason why I gave this place only 4 stars. It would get 5 from me, if we had at least an internet cable port. And on top of all that, the price was really favorable.

The staff was friendly but, i expected more from a 4 star hotel room. It is placed in a nice area by the Danube side. In the centre of the city. The room could have been more clean. Here i mean the carpet the furniture. The room phone wasn't working. The food was ok, but also a bit more cleanliness would have been better. The city is nice.

We had some really bed experiences at this Hotel. One morning, we woke up at 7am because of a very noisy maintenance work underneath our balcony. It's been promised that we will get compensation but it has never happened. Also the food was terrible.

We spent three days here with half board in a renovated 4 * room. On the positive side, which is why you get a 3 * rating, on the one hand, the staff, especially the restaurant staff, were kind, direct and helpful with every meal. (We would like to thank you again for making your stay pleasant.) On the other hand, the wellness itself was also positive. The jacuzzi was pleasant and the other indoor pool was also great for refreshment. Which, unfortunately, are negatives ... from our arrival, our room was full of bugs, both live and dead, the latter found on the carpet. At our request, they came up to vacuum most of it, although at the beginning we got a sentence from the receptionist that “well they can’t do much about them because there are plenty of them” we understand and where there are electric shutters on the windows, there can be avoided invasion with a simple mosquito net. This would have been a huge help to us too, so we wouldn’t have to spend our rest all 3 days bug hunting. Related to this, since there is quite a lot of air in the corridors and in the room, especially in the rooms, where sometimes a little sewer smell from the bathroom after the exhaust, and 40 degrees can be felt in all parts of the room despite October, we were able to ventilate in such conditions. that we took turns sitting in the window and trying to prevent the bugs from covering up. In the renovated rooms, the mold stains at the top of the shower wall may also be faulty.

Last year my wife won a free ticket to the wellness department which expired on 31.12.2015 unfortunately due to the epidemic and everything else we could not use it. We contacted them today to see what the situation was very willing and replied that of course it is useless to use at another time. It is famous for its humanity and business policy! I can only recommend!!!!
