The Catholic Church, and the "first one" irresistibly reminds us of the Gaza Kasima mosque in Pecs (at least, it was the first association for me). Particularly "problematic" is its green dome. The church was built to commemorate the Mosaic Battle, ie on the occasion of its 400th anniversary (the founding stone of 1926).

The green dome of the church reminds me of a Turkish bath. It's strange, but certainly not everyday. "The foundation stone of the Mohács vassal church was laid in 1926 in memory of Gyula Zichy, Kalocsa Archbishop, in memory of the 400th anniversary of the Battle of Mohács. Aladár Árkay (1868-1932) and his son Bertalan Árkay (1901-1971) praised the country's first concrete slab building. The impressive glass windows of the curved side walls that represent the Gothic cathedrals and represent saints are the artistic works of Bertalan Árkay's wife, Árkayné Sztehlo Lili (1897-1959). The dome is 30 meters high and 20 meters wide, with a floor area of 1227 square meters, 3600 people at the same time, on August 29, 1940, Ferenc Virág was ordained a bishop of Pécs County, and the patron saint of the church was chosen as Virgin Mary. In my opinion, the mosque-style "temple" of Mohács's parish church is a classical example of self-contradiction. The name of the town is a symbol of the beginning of a miserable era, and for this reason, the oriental overhanging building of the 150-year-old occupation with millions of victims - especially the use of RELIGIOUS BUILDING - is demoralizing. Even if the building is artistically and architecturally permanent. I think I do not want to celebrate the first application of the concrete skeleton in Hungary to a Christian church in Moscow. I do not see a Muslim-like church in the middle of nowhere !!!!! For me this architectural style ITT, it violates my sensitivity .....
