The relief of the monument - made by sculptor György Kiss (1852-1919) - II. It depicts King Louis in armor, falling from his horse. According to legend, the king drowned in this area, sinking into the swamp. According to recent research, he may have died somewhere other than this place. The former memorial here was rebuilt in 1897 for public donations to the Millennium Celebrations
