The church had a relaxed atmosphere, the whole place was so quiet and the surroundings were beautiful.

Quiet neighborhood, hospitable people. The shrine is very beautiful, only the approach roads are outdated!

Nice, quiet, peaceful place. It is worth relaxing here, meditating. It is free to visit. And the water of the holy well is a must! (washbasin available in the area) Legend has it that 1791 was written when a shepherd, grazing his flock at night, came across an unknown spring, in the water of which he saw the figure of the Virgin Mary shining with great light. The news spread quickly in the area and many came to the well to see the miracle and took it home from their water to their sick. Tradition has explained the event by the fact that at that time the priest of the village hid the Sacrament of the Altar from the invading Turkish troops in the fountain in front of the church so that it would not be desecrated by the Turks. In the late 1700s, says another wonderful story, a lame beggar came to the Holy Well. He drank from the water, washed himself, and was healed: his feet regained their strength. He stabbed his crutches into the ground next to the spring, and they sprouted and spread out into a large tree. The trees were later shattered by the farewells. As a result of the popular pilgrimages, the Kiskunfélegyháza City Council erected a stone cross on the site, but in 1793 the episcopal authority of Vác banned pilgrimages. As a result, the city ordered the filling of the source. A farm man, on whose land the fresh sowing was often carried by the farewells, filled the waterway with manure. But that scattered the dirt, and it burst with even greater force. This was considered a heavenly rebuke, and after that no one dared to reach the source. They were fenced off and a protective roof was pulled over it. And pilgrims came, especially on Pentecost and Miss Day, to the "Our Lady of Szentkút."

We had wonderful fulfillment and heavenly hospitality, the unparalleled hospitality of loving Fathers and locals. We express our gratitude for the Farewell Masses and All Ceremonies of the Assumption. God's abundant blessings accompany the fathers and helpers of Pálosszentkut and the Mayor of Petőfiszállás and all his helpers. We thank you very much for everything. Asking for the protection of Our Lady for their lives.
