At the end of the 17th century, during the Barkóczy and Károlyi family plantations, the number of Greek Catholics could grow and the priest was called Miklós in 1705. Their wooden church dedicated to shingles, dedicated to the honor of St. Michael the Archangel, was built around 1740, which had to be completely renovated towards the end of the century and could accommodate one hundred and fifty believers. The classicist, solid-state church was completed in 1842. Its tower was completed only in 1905. Fragments of its original equipment were lost in the second half of the 20th century. In 2005 an external and internal renovation took place, the roof was replaced, the finished church was blessed on April 23, 2006.
