It is a very realistic museum, the waxworks are nicely done. You can find quite a lot of information about the Bathory family, including their lifestyles, habits and philosophy.

Very nice museum, great refurbished work done. Very suitable for kids and young students, the different historical moments are represented by quality made wax figures. You can also read about them from a papyrus imitation. There a conference room and gift shop. You must try the coffee ! It is amazing ! Highly recommend ! Entey fee around 700 Huf

Very well done place. The fact that they made an old barn into an amazing place like this amuses me. The wax figures very realistic and made the experience so much more fun. The way the descriptions of the models were in medieval paper style was really actual and it gave an amazing feel to the place. The exhibitions themselves were really interesting and they told the story of medieval hungary really well. And as a plus, the souvenirs were pretty cheap.
