The fountain of Hajdúböszörmény on Bocskai Square was handed over in 2014. The fountain is open every day from 07:30 to 22:00. The fountain consists of a visual fountain and two children’s fountains. The arched waterfall falls from a large reservoir “goblet” and a gateway bridge has been formed beneath it. Passing through a lattice surface gives the impression that the person passing through there is walking on the water. The water games start from four directions and at the end show a very enjoyable overview for passers-by. The pool is lit with underwater lights from 20:00 until 22:00. The water play was programmed separately for two pieces of music, one for Zoltán Kodály's suite entitled János Háry, “Vienna Bell”, and the other for the composition “Water Game” by composer Ádám Mike from Hajdúböszörmény.
