Tokaj-Bodrogzug Landscape Protection Area

This place is a wonderful marsh which can be visited by canoes only for 1,5 month every year between mid -April and the end of May. Not only the landscape is amazing - you can see rare waterflowers here but also the wildlife is astonishing. Many different types of falcons, eagles, herons and other rare birds can be seen and heard here together with beavers and other animals which live only in such environment. Canoe trips start from the village of Tokaj which is famous for its wines so after the trip you can enjoy the food and the drinks of the region here as well.
