On our bike tour 2017 along the Tisza we borrow to Tiszadob on the Dammradweg and stopped at the monument of Pál Vásárhelyi. Here is our little travel report about it: At 10.00 o'clock we cycled downstream on the left Dammradweg, discovered the statue of Pál Vásárhelyi, a hydraulic engineer, which became known through the regulation of the amounts of water at Tisza, Körös and Danube. At that time the dam was built by human power, with shovel and pimple! Today, the pond builders use state-of-the-art tools!
