A book entry from 1665 mentions Greek Catholics living in the village. In 1686, Lőrinc was priest, and in 1705 by János Kállay. Ferenc's priest appears in the test report of the tear of the Pócs painting in 1715. In these years, the number of believers exceeded one hundred, by the end of the century it quadrupled and continued to rise in the 19th century. The census of 1747 mentions a crumbling wooden church covered with shingles in the village. According to the data collected in 1775, the community built a new wooden church in 1757. The construction of their stone church, still standing today, began in 1809 and was consecrated in 1818. The construction was led by Koninkr Winkler, the master of Nagykároly. The iconostasis was carved in 1867 and painted in 1886 by János Weichrich painter Gödöllő. In 1892, due to a lightning strike, significant damage was caused to the church. It was renewed inside and outside of 1929, and the interior was painted in 1937, the pictures were signed by Géza Veres, and a pulpit was made. In 1970, László Benke renewed the painting, and in five years, the look was restored. In 1990, a new high altar was made by József Gergely. Three years later, a sacristy was built on the south side of the sanctuary. In 2004, a partial internal and then in 2008 a partial external renovation took place.

Beautiful temple, a wonderfully sounding male choir singing at the wedding.

Built after the previous 2 wooden churches, our stone church celebrates its 200th birthday in 2018. Its proper name is "The Ascension of Our Lord". It relates to the so-called celebrations. fiesta celebration.

Its construction began in 1808 and was consecrated in 1818.

All I know about the building is that it was built in the early 1800s, but it was only consecrated around 1818-1819. It is still in good condition and cool in the summer.
