One of my worst experience/legrosszabb élmény! About the daily menu: Daily menu for 3 Eur you can read on the big advertisement, but after you drink your beverage and ask for the daily menu, the waiter says, no daily menu is served after 14.00. About service: waiter trouser was dirty and you could see holes in the shoes. One of the kids poured out the water, waiter realised it came and left several times, but did not change the table cloth. After 10 minutes, we emoved the table cloth and took it to the waiter who just took away without saying anything and without bringing a new one. About food: tasteless and overpriced. Chicken was cold, chicken stew was made from inappropriate meat. At the end, invoice contained 10 % compulsory tip...it must be compulsory, without this you would never think to pay any extra.

I’m reluctant to write a negative opinion about a hotel run by a reputable couple, but unfortunately my experience is more negative. The restaurant is basically fine. Obviously not in the fine dining category, but in the tourist lunch / dinner category, it is absolutely acceptable, large and delicious portions, and among the local restaurants, all at a fair price level. The only negative is that the drinks on the website are actually much more expensive (a glass of beer on the website is 370, actually 550, half a liter of lemonade according to the website is 490, actually 790 and plus a 10% service charge). Unfortunately, the situation is different with the hotel: it reflects a slightly 20-year-old interior, in some places it is still unpleasant (eg squeaky interior doors in the room, no extractor in the toilet), in other places it is already disturbing (eg rotting door jamb in the bathroom). , rusting sanitary ware, run-down shower cubicle interior). We didn’t leave after a day because of these, but because of the complete lack of light protection. At the end of June, from 4 am, the whole room will be flooded with light. If you come from a shutter-insulated apartment, the rooms are unsuitable for sleeping in the early morning in summer. The kids, accustomed to waking up at 8 in the morning, were just spinning in bed from 5 and woke up at 6. The staff is nice, but after I indicated that instead of booking the 2 days we would leave the first morning, the owner’s lady style became condescending. The time-based settlement was correct anyway, so we went with a 2-day coupon, we had only a minimal loss on early departure. Breakfast is completely invaluable, with a few slices of cold cuts and cheese, a kind of bun. Scrambled eggs e.g. no.

We could not take over the booked paid accommodation. We were notified by phone on the eve of arrival that there was no room. The slightly aggressive lady, she didn't return the money. The next day we had to complain in person at the accommodation about the money we received. There was no attempt to accommodate us, we had to do that

The restaurants are very nice, the room is small but the equipment is nice and clean. The staff was nice. The main square has its own parking lot. No'and Eger wines are the best in the world !!
