Füzesabonyi Keresztelő Szent János születése plébániatemplom

It was built between 1731-1735 by Bishop Gábor Erdődy (architect: Giovanni Battista Carlone) using the former medieval church. It was expanded with side ships in 1815, and its tower was rebuilt after 1945. In the church garden: statue of St. John of Nepomuk, baroque around 1842, placed here from Rákóczi út. A three-aisled, basilica, a facade tower with a polygonal sanctuary closure half-saddle-covered eastern church. Attached to the end wall of the sanctuary is a vaulted roofed sacristy. In the central axis of the main façade, a richly carved pediment with a coat of arms above the gate. Above the main ledge in a booth is St. John the Baptist and two stone vases.

Nice interior, but the exterior of the church would need renovation.
