Baroque cemetery chapel with a single-nave, semi-circular sanctuary and a hussar tower. On the lower level there are 8 booth tombs. It was built in 1774 by the imperial and royal councilor Count Count Kállay of Nagykálló. The free royal city rank was enacted on the condition that Debrecen give way back to the Roman Catholic Church, which had ceased to exist in the city as a result of the Reformation. On April 27, 1716, the magistrate designated a site for St. Anne's Church and a burial site for Catholics. On July 15, 1932, the city closed all the city’s cemetery gardens and opened a new public cemetery. The old Catholic cemetery has been neglected, the chapel in the II. wounded in world war. It was restored in 1965, and a stone storehouse was built of old tombstones around it. The Roman Catholic Church in Debrecen, which has the right of inheritance, brought it to its present state in 2004 with the support of the city and surrounded it in order to further preserve it. After a long time, believers can also pray at Mass for their deceased relatives on November 2.
