Currently, construction is spoiling the picture, but the environment will definitely be settled. It was an interesting sight that the sluice is just open and the water of Lake Balaton is pouring into the canal.

it would be nice - even with a permission or a visitor's ticket - to see Siófok's most precious waterfront plot ... inside this is unfortunately not possible at the moment, though in the perspective of planning, a spatial plan and a reconstruction, tourists will see the "strict secrets "... it would be a real tourist delicacy to see the historic sluice;

We were there today, telling the kids what they were going to see, but I guess they won't even remember it next week. He said the 6-year-olds were "forgetful."

The Sió Canal is used to regulate the water level of Lake Balaton and connect it to the Danube. The Sió Canal is the western tributary of the Danube, located in Hungary. It is 121 km long. It drives the water of Lake Balaton to the Danube through Somogy, Fejér and Tolna counties. Cities around Siófok: Siófok, Simontornya and Szekszárd.

Interesting, special place, "Balaton bath plug". Too much of the discarded garbage on the canal.
