Family friendly enviroment, but if you're looking for luxury, it's not for you. The houses are great, but a bit retro-style. The public restrooms and showers are clean.

Great place for wonderful holiday.

Balatontourist (which I just found out is owned by the prime minister’s body) treats this camp as a money pool knowing that people will come here anyway for the great beach and put up with a lot for it therefore they don’t need to invest in improving the facilities. We’ve been coming here for 10 years now, each year the toilet block is more run down, broken bits don’t get replaced or repaired. One year one of the washing machines disappeared, never to see a replacement ever since. The smell from the toilets sometimes makes you want to cross your legs. Why come here then? Because this campsite has possibly the best beach front at the lake and the view is amazing. End of... (Edited) Just found out that the campsite has been sold and it will be turned into yet another luxury apparment complex. What a waste and a huge mistake!!! I take all my criticism back. I’d rather have the run down bathroom than not being able swim in this part of the lake again. Some parts of Balaton should be exempt from building on in order to protect the view. Where are the environmentalists?
