Even in October, this small Japanese garden is eye-catching, with its special layout and fall colors (although it is currently out of reach due to the pandemic). You can take a pleasant walk on the islands of the lake system, the stones and bridges connecting them, and then relax in the arbor, contemplating quietly. To me, the enjoyment value of the place is somewhat diminished by the sounds and noises that sometimes filter through from the adjacent soccer field, and in some parts of the buildings and greenhouses that seem neglected from the outside. However, overall, this is still a small gem of the place hidden in the heart of Nagyzugló. (Pictures of each plant show gentian, wild grapes and wild lemon.)

Well the Japanese garden itself was cozy! And the sight of the special plants and pines was also satisfying and blissful! However, the surroundings of the place provided a terrible and depressing sight! Of course, whoever studied and graduated here sees the peculiarities of the place differently. But for us like those who have never been here before ..... well it was a disappointment! And maybe there was a 4% chance of finding a description of any plant or a variety information card !!!! :( It seems that the whole area is reluctantly directed and cared for .... And at the reception, they just left everything and we two got 1 hard-to-read guide that was hard-to-read ... Strange that the place was designed in 1928! And now they've only gotten this far .... Sad!

There is one of the oldest Japanese Japanese gardens in Zugló. Márton Varga designed and built it in 1928, and in a few years he was a member of the Japanese imperial family, Prince Takamacu and his wife. Their expressed appreciation gift plants that are descendants admire today. The Japanese garden of Zugló is based on a lake system of about two hundred square meters, with several bridges and steps. The paths of the garden are also very refined. The turns always add another attraction, and the stone rhythm of the stone strings makes the walk even more cozy. Finally, the oldest tree in the garden, an early maple, is coming to you. The huge park in the 3000 m2 area of the Horticultural and Surveying Vocational School, which is the name of the founder, welcomes you during your opening hours if you want a little Japanese harmony.
