Charging station - Old Lake Golf Hotel

Basically it was not bad, I booked accommodation on one of the side of the accommodation with my parents that evening. Signing up was a bit difficult, and dinner wasn't real. Apart from the room, the equipment was not bad.

We have mixed feelings about the hotel ... The staff is basically kind, the afternoon receptionist on the day of our arrival was very helpful and did not inform us about the basic information that even a lower-class hotel would expect: breakfast time and location, restaurant open holding, wellness availability and opening hours, access to other services, check-out latest ... We have had a major problem with the full reception with a discount card that will be provided to all guests. Since we did not arrive directly by car, we went to the city center by bus, which is free of charge, but requires individual tickets from the accommodation. The afternoon receptionist said there is no one without the card for free travel. The receptionist in the evening had already asked his full-time colleague to ask, he will know and apologized. Well, he didn't know either. :) But he called for a long time to find out where these tickets were, but they didn't get one in the end. Luckily the bus driver was in a good mood and released us for free. As for the room ... We took it in a very dusty condition, the first thing we did was to clean the closet and the bathroom on the drying radiator. Minibar cool room. There was nothing in the room besides the glasses and the bottle opener, no normal sized trash, no paper, no pen, no hotel information, no questionnaire, no laundry bag, no small shoe spoon, no small sewing kit, 2 of the 4 lamps. there was no light bulb ... I obviously wouldn't expect them all, but this room was buzzing with emptiness ... The bath comes back to the odor of the canal, the water in the sink barely flows, the web is thick in the corner of the door ... It is open until 10 am, the jacuzzi was not turned on at 9 am, nor was the clock set for winter time ... The massage was nice, but we were not welcomed by the lady, but rather as we were the first and last guests on the day of arrival. ... The billiards are great, but for a mere 2000 Forints it is an exaggeration, and on Saturday one of the cocks still intact was broken for another day, and I would like to congratulate the guest that's how the game goes ... Breakfast was basically the same every day, although one day there was a roll but no bread, the next day there was bread and no roll ... One day there was water besides the sugary soft drinks, the next day it was not. .. We did not ask for half board but in the afternoon we ate at the restaurant. The food was delicious, we received the order soon, but at the reception we had to say that there was no one in the restaurant, but all the doors were open, anyone could even walk into the kitchen ... I don't know what was going on in the background but during our entire stay we met the same 4-5 staff members, so judging by this there is a nasty shortage of staff at the hotel ... Overall, we wouldn't book again, who is not in the car, remember to stay here because the bus is once or twice a day and taxis sometimes thousands of Forints to the downtown ... Of course, this is a hotel ideally for golfers, but since it is open to everyone, so we have looked at the whole range of accommodation in Tata, but we chose this hotel. As a non-golf tourist who came to rest without his car, unfortunately it wasn't a good decision.
