Didn't get to see the rhinos or tigers, but a good day out for the kids

Lovely place for a day out with the family.nLots of animals to see and read aboutnWent with the kids and they had a great time.nThe highlight of the day for us was seeing the giraffes- beautiful sight.nThere are also play areas for the kids and you can also bring your own food for a picnic.

Lovely place as a whole bur it's just a shame that we rarely see the tiger and NEVER see the rhinos outdoors. I have been several times now and only seen the tiger once inside and through a cage door. There is a LOT of primates and birds really. There is a good range of seating area for picnics but near the zebras and splash pad it is very limited for food shops for anyone who hasn't got anything with them. Penguins are super close to you. Soft play is very big and cool. Always loads of parking. No butterflies in the butterfly house ever

Fantastic place for the kids so much to see, the only downside was the toilet facilities are old and tatty they need a really good upgrade.

We had a lovely family visit to the zoo on the 15th April. We saw most of the animals that we could and had a lovely lunch from the Catch.nA few minor points they need bigger bins or they need emptying more often around the catch. We had finished lunch before 1pm and all the bins were already full and piles were being created around the bins. Also it would be good if there was a one way system and/or staff around the busier areas encouraging people to move on so other people can see as well.
