Asahiyama Zoo

The zoo area is quite big and visitors can see a lot of animals inside the zoo. The main star for the zoo is the cute penguin parade. The parade was done twice a day (11am and 2.30pm). The penguins are cute and adorable!nnInside the zoo, there is also Children’s farm section specially fpr the kids. They can touch rabbit in this area. The rabbits are cute and my daughters really love to touch and cuddle them.

I loved this zoo. We arrived at 11 in the morning and saw the adorable penguin march. The zoo only has the penguin march in winter. It was incredible to almost be able to pet them as they strutted past. The seals were amazing, I loved the underwater frame. The owls were so mystical and narnia like! A must go to zoo.

People come here and says it’s nice only because there is literately nothing to do in this city - so do I.

An interactive zoo!! Many activities such as penguins snow walking in winter is the famous. The zoo cages in Asahiyama Zoo are so unique, so you can have much more interaction with animals only in here. Have fun!

very good zoo. if you have never seen penguins directly before, you can come to this zoo, here you can see the penguin parade of course to see it only in winter, so when you are on vacation in Japan don't forget to go here even though far from Tokyo but it will pay off when you come here, but keep in mind to come here when the best is in winter. it was very nice to see the penguin parade.
