great place, the only and one airport in tarakan. transit point for go to big city. nice service, but it is hard to search food around the area. just bring food or go to lounge if u want to search cool air and beverage or food.

My check in time was very good, didn’t take too long. The staff are polite. Airport security was tight, basic protocol: open belts, remove laptop from your bag, phone from your pocket, watch from your wrist and place it on the tray to be scanned. They asked politely to investigate any suspicious object in your bag and give feedback for that. Toilet was clean but small. Very few food and beverages option to find here. There were playgrounds for kids. There is AED cabin in the boarding room but its out of order

not so big airport but the service is very pleasant, and clean airport, the parking lot is spacious but not many restaurant.
