Sogori Island

One of the tourist destination in Kabaena, Bombana. It is actually an atoll of sand. Blue, green seawater, white sand and beautiful beach are main attractions. You can reach this spot by boat from Sikeli port or from any other port with the main island of Kabaena. Although this small island is inhabited by more than hundreds people already there are still lack of infrastructure. Water and electricity are also lacking. No proper accommodation available for tourist. You can come in the morning and leave in the afternoon.

Beautiful views and clear sea water

Terlatak in the western part of Kabaena Island and can be accessed using a katinting boat from the ports of Sikeli and Batuawu, Kec. South Kabaena for 20 minutes. Stretch of white sand and blue sea is the main attraction. This island when viewed from the air in the shape of a crescent moon with coral reefs shaped atoll rings. Sagori which has a length of three kilometers and a width of 200 meters, is inhabited by the Bajo tribe and the Bugis tribe. The evergreen tree that thrives in the middle of the island can make you feel like you are in a wilderness. In the western part of the island there is a wreck of the Vereenigde Oostindische Compagni (VOC) merchant ship lying at a depth of 5 meters. If you carry Snorkeling and diving equipment, you can snorkel and dive in the western part of the island whose topography is a steep coral wall.
