Very poor airport. There’s no improvement after i go and out of here for 2 years. The building too old, and so small.

Timor Leste is a relatively young nation. Believe or not, it's still somewhat trying to recover from it's war years. When traveling to the country, don't expect much from the airport. Let's say it's accommodations are far below from what international travelers might expect. The arrival area when I was there was in extreme need of rehabilitation. Customs was a breeze. I didn't have a problem getting into the country. The departing terminal is very nice, of course that's relatively. It has air conditioning. Oh, you'll get swarm by taxis drivers bidding for your business.

Have been in and out of this airport for the past 5 years.nSmall improvements have been made with a small lounge, duty free and souvenir shop.nStill pretty much a Third World (developing) airport. The workers are extremely helpful and friendly, and Alex is the man that keeps it all together.nIt’s a gateway. Nothing more.

It's an adequate airport for the country's needs, but the layout needs to be improved a bit. The souvenir shop is fantastic though...
