So many exhibits are closed but prices are the same.

I’ve been coming to this zoo since I was little, and now I can bring my son. The zoo layout is fantastic and definitely big enough to get your daily steps in. The exhibits are fantastic and the variety of animals is definitely worth the trip. We bought annual passes which I’m super thankful for since during some of our visits there were very few animals out which made for a very empty visit (gorillas, rhinos, elephants, zebras were nowhere to be seen, including the indoor exhibits. Orangutans were in the outer exhibit hiding under blankets but none were in the indoor exhibits either). I totally get with the weather and other factors that it varies who will be out and about but it would be nice if they had some kind of red light green light system on their website so before families pack up everything and go they can see if it’s worth going that day.nnNevertheless, I’m looking forward to many more zoo visits ☺ufe0f

My family loves Woodland Park Zoo! We became members when my son was born and we've enjoyed visiting as often as we can. It's fun to bring guests and to attend their special events, such as Wild Lanterns this year. They've incorporated many new procedures to help keep visitors safe during the pandemic, and we certainly are glad they've been able to remain open for the most part. We renewed our membership for the second year and we feel so lucky to have this wonderful zoo so close by!!
