Truly an amazing zoo!! Everything is so well kept. Super clean grounds. The animals are so loved by the staff. There are educational/informational plaques all the exhibits. Well laid out space. Plenty of seating if you need a break. Excellent place to learn and get exercise. Go enjoy and your ticket price will help care fir/feed the residents!!

Very accompanying staff and facility. We LOVED it! The zoo wasn't packed, but mildly busy. It was nice. Some things were closed off, but we go to view several exhibits and indoor things like the bugs and reptiles. I'm very happy with the staff. This has been probably my favorite my most favorite visit ever. They were patient and fun!

Outstanding.nnAmong the best Zoo’s in the world, the Houston Zoo boasts an amazing number of 700 animal species and a total of 6,000 animals. Some of the mightiest and meekest animals roam the Zoo and you will be sure to love it. The fee’s are: Adult (Ages 13-64): $22.95. Child (Ages 3-12): $17.95. Senior (Ages 65+): $17.95. They do have several restaurants in the zoo. Overall, I hope and know you enjoy the zoo no matter when you come. Make sure to bring a mask and wash your hands after you visit. Have a great time!nnBy the way, if you could leave a like on this comment so more people could see it, that would be amazing. My goal is to help as many people as I can. Hope this review helped,n~ Armin

The zoo is clean and has a great atmosphere, with tons of tree cover and bamboo. Unfortunately it looks like a lot of the foliage was killed in the freeze, but they're already working on it.nnI guess we went a good time (11:30), because many of the animals had just been fed and were up and around, which was fun. All the exhibits are clean and the animals all look extremely healthy and happy. We had a ton of fun.nnThey are effectively enforcing mask usage, which made us feel very comfortable. Everyone kept a safe distance and was friendly. That's the Texas spirit I know!

I absolutely adore this place! I know zoos get a bad rap for keeping exotic animals in captivity, but this zoo is different and you can feel it. Every animal has ample space and resources to be as comfortable as possible. The zoo is nonprofit and backed by many local organizations as a conservation effort, which makes me happy. I love hearing about the all the babies they've been having recently and it warms my heart to see this place expanding. I have yet to experience the new South America area, but you best believe I'll be down there as soon as I can be!
