You can spend all the time on this world only for sitting around this port, just kinda ordinary port but with the heavenly view

I marked it 5 stars but there is really no need for rating. It's the only harbour to use from and to Sorong. Ferries operate pretty well. They leave the harbour usually 30mins after their scheduled time. I took a 9am ferry to catch my 3pm flight. There are car taxis and motorbike taxis available at the harbour. If you don't have much luggage a motorbike taxi works well. I hired two, one for me and one for my suitcase which was still a lot cheaper than a car taxi. No need to get a VIP ticket for the ferry. I got a VIP ticket from Sorong and an economy ticket from Waisai and I experienced no difference at all other than twice the price.

didn't know there's a vip area on the top of the ferry, booked it when coming back, less noise and more comfy
