We have had a family membership for years and will continue to do so. The Zoo tried to be as accommodating as possible during a very difficult 2020 and all policies were clearly communicated before our visits. I look forward to maintaining our membership for years to come as they continue to provide a great experience and encourage learning for all ages.

I don’t know if it’s the restrictions or the time of year or the time of day, but I was honestly expecting to see more. There were so many things closed that it felt like mostly all I saw were the farm animals that I have on my farmnnOn the bright side, things I enjoyed:nThe grizzly bears. They were beautiful and the display for them was beautiful.nnThe walk was beautiful with plenty of places to sit and rest if you’re with someone who gets tired easily.nnI did enjoy that the animals had a lot of room to roam.nnIt’s actually not bad, just with as many things closed as were closed, I’d probably not go at least until all this mess is over and things can function normally.

Love this place. A very nice fancy zoo that controls guest flow by appointment during the pandemic. Only room for improvement is bringing the train back and making sure a few exhibits are more consistent. A great place for family!

We enjoy the actual zoo but the management of the 2019/ 2020 memberships was poor. Basically we paid for a membership and went once, since it was closed a large part of the time. Now trying to get tickets has been a nightmare as they sell out so fast due to # restrictions. I purchased tickets for a date and time that I quickly realized was a time conflict. So purchased the correct dated tickets and then called the zoo to see if I could just cancel the other order. Not thinking it would be any big deal. But...no, they couldn't so a thing for me. That's a bit ridiculous. People make mistakes. So just make sure that if you order tickets that you check to make sure you can actually go because you won't get your money back. I Basically threw $60 down the drain..

I love the MN Zoo, but was very disappointed yesterday thinking I had a reservation made a month ago (I am a member) to find out it didn’t go through when I was ready to check in after stating that it was confirmed online. I understand we are in a pandemic but you could have let us in seeing that we’re members and have yet to use our membership. I don’t know that I will renew again. We’ll see. I’ve been telling my son we’re going all month long and it was incredibly disappointing after a half hour drive as well.
