New building and clean. Young staffs are very friendly and helpful.nnMaintenance of the terminal building should be considered since today to keep it clean and steady.nnAfter pandemic when tourism market getting recover, this airport would be more busy.nn40-50 minutes flight time from Toraja to Makassar must be nice and worthy.nnI hope I could visit Toraja again by plane from Makassar.

The presence of Buntu Kunik Airport or Tana Toraja Airport (TRT) is a huge leap in Toraja tourism. The distance is no longer 6-8 hours by land from Makassar but now only 1 hour via air. Mengga Mart & Inn is the accommodation solution for you and your family while in Tana Toraja. The distance from the airport is only 10 minutes. You may rest for a while then continue your tour to visit tourist attractions there. The closest tourist spot is Kayu Pia (a baby buried in a large log) which can be reached by foot. The view in front of the homestay is very beautiful, the expanse of rice fields and cool air even the dense fog in the morning. You and your family can take pictures there and of course it is instragramable. This homestay is very cheap for middle to lower budgets or in the backpackers class, it is also still suitable for middle to upper class people who only need rest after adventure. This homestay is clean and equipped with a water heater for bathing, a TV and also a Wi-Fi signal for you to immediately upload your travel photos. Immediately check Mengga Mart & Inn on your maps.
