Gatot Subroto Airport should not be stagnant, or stop operating as a commercial airport because of certain situation and conditions, the government must collaborate with other districts, open new industries, to move the economy and increase business which will progress to projected population growth, and economy in Way Kanan district, so that people can use the Gatot Subroto Way Kanan airport, becoming an active airport like other commercial airports in other cities in Indonesia. Therefore, the community is looking forward to the innovation and celebration of the Way Kanan regent government as the head of the Way Kanan district government where Gatot Subroto Airport is located, to further develop the potential for agriculture, plantations, livestock in the villages. Industry, UKM, trade or economic center in the main town or small town in Way Kanan district. As well as paying attention to education in Way Kanan Regency, for example establishing a University in Blambangan Umpu as the capital of Way Kanan, this does require a large budget, therefore the government must collaborate with other local governments or the central government to improve the quality of better human resources and be able to manage SDA optimally.
