Baiturrahman Grand Mosque

A historical and very beautiful mosque in the city of Banda Aceh, which has survived the big 2004 Indian ocean tsunami. The mosque is clean and has a lot of parking space. Now, it has been refurbished but the amazing beauty of the mosque is still there. You will never get tired watching it and conduct prayers in there.

Once I laughed to the decision of refurbishing the iconic mosque of Aceh, adding granites and umbrellas and whatnot. But now, I laud the officials who made that decision. Kudos to you guys, now the mosque is even more magnificent and comfortable. Slight issue though. The umbrella, being taller than they are wider, do not cover enough from the sideway raining or not provide enough shade due to the position or angle of the sun in some periods.

If I can put 10 stars, i will give this holy mosque 10 star. If you go to Banda Aceh, you should visit this mosque. If you are Moslem, you should pray there, specially at dawn. It will give you unforgettable experience

The most beautiful mosque u'll see entire of Aceh, the view was so amazing. Everything is good, the facilities are good..
