This is new airport building moved from older airport nearby. Facilities are still good after 4 years with routine maintenance.

This is my second visit to Sultan Thaha airport. The first visit was rushed so didn't enjoy the atmosphere here. The Jambi style building looks striking with a dominant yellow color. The airport environment looks clean and neat. A large parking area is anticipating the number of visitor vehicles that will increase in the future.nAlthough orderly waits around the smoking area, the presence of taxi and motorcycle taxi drivers slightly reduces the comfort of the airport. They should wear uniforms so they look more presentable and easily recognizable.
