Tangkoko Hill

It was a nice little resort beside the park. Food was good. The guide there will show you the little monkeys. The rooms were big and everything worked, no good internet though

Basic accommodation next to the tangkoko national park. The rooms are fairly clean with van, AC and hot water. We did not enjoy the food very much and found that the jungle trek is more of a walk through the forest... compared to the jungle trek we did in sumatra it was not that great.

Watch out for your own safety during jungle trip! The guide will not protect you! We actually got in the way of a group of macaques and got bloody scratched by them. We ended up evacuating to Manado hospital to get RABIES vaccine. And it could have been much worse if we got biten (vaccine + immunoglobuline = more than 3000$). Be aware that North Sulawesi is known for recent presence of rabies.nnJulien, the guide, is a nice guide, but is very passive and doesn't show passion to his job. I think we could have avoided being scratched if he was more active and reacted on the situation. After the incident he didn't seem worried at all nor did he advise what to do in this situation.nnThe place itself is nice and food is plentiful.

Clean and nice place. All food is included in the room price and the owner is helpful when it comes to arranging a guide for the national park. Not much to see besides the park, so I wouldn’t stay here for too long.

The best place to stay in Batu Putih, Tangkoko. The food is awesome... Staff also are very friendly, and they have wifi, although is not that fast hehehe
