The airport is ongoing development. And the place is clean. Even the public toilets are spotless. It's very convenient. With various places for coffee, snacks and convenience stores

Garuda Indonesia will most likely open scheduled nonstop passenger flights from Manado to:nn- Los Angeles (LAX)n- San Francisco (SFO)n- Seattle / Tacoma (SEA)n- Salt Lake City (SLC)n- Denver (DEN)n- Minneapolis / Saint Paul (MSP)n- Chicago / O’Hare (ORD)n- Detroit (DTW)n- Boston (BOS)n- New York City / Kennedy (JFK)n- Washington DC / Dulles (IAD)n- Atlanta (ATL)nnAlthough these flights will originate in Jakarta’s Soetta Airport in West Java, but Manado will be the stopover for refueling and passenger exchange.nnAnd these routes will be seasonal services, which will only operate during the cold winters in North America.nnAmerican travelers will be tourists in Indonesia, but after landing in Manado, they will have a choice to fly domestically to other Indonesian archipelagos.

This facility's under construction. It was quite messy yesterday, but I believe in the near future, one would find an enhanced version of an international-class airport. I saved one star to be added once the brand-new-look terminal open..

Airport with the touch of local arts. There are some food stalls inside the area. The airport is doing further advancemnt of its facilities and buildings. Clean toilets n waiting area. Pretty neat arrangement by the staffs for making the passengers comfortable.

In the renovation stage. Without air conditioning, it is very hot.
